Urban Renewal
Urban renewal starts with listening to property owners and understanding the building, the plot and the brief. SARP plans its engineering and contracting work around those needs, with a clear scope and regular communication.

Common questions about urban renewal.
How does the urban renewal process start?
It begins with a risk assessment of the building, carried out by institutions licensed by the Ministry at the request of an owner. Owners’ decisions, design and permits follow.
Which parts of the process does SARP take on?
We coordinate the assessment of the building and plot, design and programme planning, construction after demolition, and handover. The scope is agreed with the owners for each project.
How is the agreement with owners made?
The agreement is tailored to the plot’s zoning, the existing units and the owners’ expectations. We go through the process and options together at our first meeting.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the building, decision and permit stages and the project scope. After a preliminary assessment we share a schedule specific to your building.
Which areas do you work in?
We work across both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul.
